PEOPLE AND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

The food you eat, the services you receive – they don’t just appear out of thin air!  There are so many people behind each brand, each product, and I take great joy in speaking with them about their passion, listening to them reveal why they do what they do, seeing the conviction and the determination in their eyes.  When I photograph events, I want to capture the people who like to hide behind the scenes – the ones you don’t see in newspapers and on TV.  Sometimes I ask people to pose and sometimes I just want to capture people in their element.

Photographs of people are always a portrait of some sort.  They are a snapshot in a moment of someone’s life.

All photographs are taken with the venue’s natural lighting.
